Stainless flat products are among the most frequently investigated steel products in trade remedy cases. Before ordering, check the customs tariff code (HS 7219 for flat rolled stainless 600 mm and wider, 7220 for narrower) in your own country, the applicable duty for the origin, any safeguard quota, and whether a certificate of origin or mill declaration is needed.
